Wow... Now i understand top cropping.

So i have been brewing off and on for many years now, more off than on, but just recently have really gotten back into it, and now have my fourth all grain batch in the fermentation chamber. It is ten gallons of the CYBI - Terrapin Rye Pale Ale. I am very used to seeing my yeast churning around in the carboy, with a little at the top, so imagine my surprise when i open the door of the chamber and see the pic below!

I dont see any yeast churning around at all, everything is floating on top.

Nice lookin setup. Maybe if you post a bigger picture, I could give you a yeast count.
Cheers, and let us know how it turns out.

This will vary with the yeast strain. I've brewed a few batches with WLP023, Burton Ale Yeast recently. It crawls out of the fermenter, up the stairs and into bed with you if you're not careful.
