Wyeast Smack Pack Question

Mon May 26, 2008 4:06 am

Does anyone know how long I can wait after before I need to either pitch my yeast or start my starter after activating the smack pack? I had to cancel my brew day so I am curious what I should do with my activated smack pack. Should I just stick it back in the refrigerator or should I go ahead and make a starter and crash it after it's completed?

You don't even have to smack the pack. It doesn't do anything except show you that some of the yeast is viable.
