So, I pitched white labs Champange yeast into some cider yesterday. Liquid temp right round 64-66 F. As of this morning, I have not noticeable bubbling or signs of fermentation. Anyone else have this happen?

My advice would be to wait a little longer before worrying. Did you add nutrients?

Thats kinda my plan for now. I didnt add any nutrients. I pitched an english cider into another gallon jug and it took off with in 2 hours. I have brought the temperature up just a bit. So, I will see if that does anything.

OK, so hows this for showing beginner stripes. Though I have brewed a few beers with great success. While watching Boston win the game tonight, I hear a loud pop! Expecting to see cider everywhere, I find the stopper with airlock still attached in the middle of the floor. The one gallon glass jug with champagne yeast is bubbling away without a stopper in. Turns out the new airlock I used without inspecting, had an imperfection and was fused at the bottom. Changed out said airlock and the cider is now happily fermenting away. should have thought a little more outside the box a few hours ago.
