Chest freezer

Looking at getting more into Lagers or should I say, a better grasp of fermentation temperatures.
Found some room in the basement after cleaning shit out and I would like to get a dedicated chest freezer. I probably brew 2- 3 times a month. So I would have maybe 2 beers in fermentation at once.
I'm sure some of you have gone down this road so I am asking you for advice on size for the freezer. And if you have any additional advice would be great.

The best piece of advice would be to cut out a couple circles of cardboard the same (or slightly larger) than your fermenters. Take these with you when you go shopping and place them in the freezer to make sure your fermenters will fit.
This same advice also goes for folks looking to buy a chest freezer to use as a kegerator. Just cut smaller disks.

yeah I know that would be great but my ''beer fridge'' always has 60+ beer bottles in it and I try to keep it that way.

I have a a chest freezer too, and find it awesome b/c all the cold air stays down in the sucker. It hardly even turns on with the proper temp control. If you are putting it in the basement, buy the largest one that fits down the stairs or through the walk in basement door (if you have one).
Another tip is to use those "milk cases" to lower and raise carboys in/out of the chest freezer. Those help but take up more room. So buy the largest freezer!

by "milk cases" are you referring to a milk crate? A plastic sqare box that you put the carboy in and use that to lift it in and out?

what is the temperature range that you can get in your freezer?
