An American Hat needs your advice

I have a red ale in fermentation and it has too much oak flavour to it. I thought that adding cherries would change that beer up a bit. But, how many cans should I add to the 5 gallon batch? Also thought that I should add a pack of champagne yeast.

suggestions?

Brew the same beer and then blend the two. Adding things to the beer will not "mask" the oak they will just muddy it up. I think your best bet is to dilute. But that's just my opinion.

+1. Brew the same beer sans oak. Blend. :jnj

If you were still curious about the cherries, you could do it w/ a gallon or two, and see... but I agree w/ BadRock on this one.
