Maibock Yeast Question (answer soon!)

Ok making a Maibock this weekend (10g)
I have 2 packs of Wyeast 2206 Bavarian Lager and 1 pack of 2308 Munich Lager.
I will make a starter with the Munich lager yeast.

Ok here is the question.... should I put 1 pack of Bavarian in each fermenter and split the Munich starter between the two, OR should I put all of the starter in one and both packs of Bavarian in the other?

Good Noon

I'd keep your like types in the same fermenter. Thus starter in one and 2 packs in the other. You will end up with two completely different beers. This may or may not be a good thing but you can always blend back to get the same results as if you had added both yeasts to both fermenters.

I agree with Badrock. Im not a fan of mixing yeasts. It always seems you have one yeast that dominates and the other just doesnt do much.

Brew with seperate yeasts and then mix the finished product if you want to.

well I popped the inner bag and only 2 of the 3 proofed (the Munich didn't proof at all) so I am gonna do a starter with it and mix them, just use it to up the cell count.
