I've used this yeast on ESBs many times. I've never had any issues with diacetyl. I kept the fermentations at 66 the entire time. I found the yeast be relatively clean with a mild oakey ester in the finish that was very nice.

Good call on the mild oak in the finish Saco. I am Drinkin the APA (that is more like an ESB), I brewed with the WLPo13 at around 67. Definitely picking that up now that you mention it. (yeah, its 430, and I'm drinking. the glories of being unemployed)

Not a touch of diacetyl. Clean and malt forward. 1.050-1.012... so I guess my pitch was big enough for this beer.
