As long as you were clean, the beer should be ok. I side with the "pitch more yeast now" camp. Even after it gets up and running, those yeast are going to be stressed out. The beer won't be bad, but it will be typical underpitching results - estery....
Go to www.mrmalty.com and figure out how much you should have originally pitched and correct it now.
Pitch rate is right alongside of temp control as far as importance to the end goal.
