It's supposed to. Lager strains are known for throwing sulphury odors.

Yeah, mine smelled different than the regular Ale yeast. It has been chugging along for a full week. Still a bit of activity in the airlock but it has slowed greatly as you would expect. I am not planning on bottling (yes I bottle) until next Sunday. If there is still activity next Saturday then I may put it off for another week. I see no reason to hurry this process.

I wonder if there is any point in rousting the yeast? Meh.... probably best to leave it alone.
