Kind of funny how you are such a big advocate of not dumping anything until it is truly old AND bad. Sounds like your good advice paid off here! Did you backsweeten at all?

There is no discipline involved in that no dumping thing, just procrastination and forgetfullness. :lol:

No backsweetening at all. The OG was about 1.140 (possibly a little highter) so that yeast (the Wyeast sweet mead yeast) crapped out before it ate all the sugar.
