Force Carb My Mead

Tue Jun 23, 2009 11:24 am

I have 5 gal of mead in a Corny keg right now in my closet. Just letting it clear for a bit. Anyway, think I might just carb the whole thing, can I do my usual method. 10psi for a week?

Depends on how fizzy you want it! I personally do my meads the same as fizzy wine and sodas - 20psi at 40f.

Never had fizzy mead, so might be good to run where I am for now and then if I want more kick it up a little. What do you think?

That's the nice thing about kegs, you can adjust as you go until you find what you like.
