Hello I'am Herman from The Netherlands.
Homebrewing is my hobby since 2005. My installation is for 5 till 8 Gallons of beer. It is a gas burner with an motor driven stirrer. The gas burner and the stirrer are controlled by a home made PC application and some electronics.
I use a hoist to tilt the brew kettle so I can use gravity instead using a pump
For the fermentation I use two refrigerators with temperature control using the Tcontrol system. This is a PC application for temperature control during fermentation.
To see the severity of the fermentation I have made a Carbondioxide production sensor. In this way the flow of the fermentation in time can be seen. The sensor is placed on the fermentation vessel instead of the airlock.
The beers I brew are mostly Belgium styles and APA's.
