Just checking in from Salem Oregon. I love the show, I've been listening to the archives, and I'm up to september. I learned a lot more already, and have got some good ideas.
I've been brewing for about 6 years, but only really seriously for the last 2 years. I really got going since I got the keg set up, I used to hate bottles! Now I'm finding that I'm bottling a few more, just to keep a bit longer.
The great controversies of brewing:
I use both glass and plastic fermentors, but I'm switching to more plastic, glass for long term.
Batch sparge ala Denny, including the blue cooler, faster and easier.
