Hacking the BN - the April 1st joke that never happened

Wed Mar 31, 2010 7:25 pm

years ago there was a plan to hack the Brewing Network as an April 1 asshattery joke. I got pretty far down my todo list but then decided I really shouldn't just hack the BN without telling Justin first. long story short, we didn't do it. practically everything was in a state of unfinished when I stopped development with one exception: the cartoon that the intern made. now TWO years later it's the ONLY thing that remains. for some stupid reason it doesn't sync anymore. it did. but you know, software does that sometimes. so sit back and enjoy it knowing Turkish Hackers were involved.... it would have been EPIC!

Beerschool John, it's not wise to upset the one one they call Code. He keeps sending me e-mails for boner medicine and stock car racing. I don't mind the boner medicine ads but, allah will only forgive so much.

I'll pass on the praise to the talented kid that intern. wanted to make a career in game development so he's spent all his time in Flash. he argued about how the Turkish hackers would look. saying "have you BEEN there? no! they are trying to be like you so we make them look like him!" pointing the the nerdy web guy. this would have never occured to me but he had a point. I was thinking they'd have turbans, robes and sandals. but what do I know of Turkish l33t h4x0r5?
