BN Store Processing Times

Thu Feb 25, 2010 10:00 am

I looked around a bit, and I couldn't find anything answering my question. Forgive me if this has already been covered.

About how long does it take to get stuff ordered from the BN store? I finally ordered "Brewing Classic Styles" from the BN and I'm curious about how long it'll take to show up at my doorstep. I want to put an order in for a few batches worth of ingredients and I'd like The Pope and AssPalmer to hold my hand and paddle my bottom through the formulation of a few of the recipes.

It'll be just like my days as an alter boy.

Anyway, I was just curious. I'd like to do some bulk ingredient ordering and the two darlings of recipe rabble-rousing would probably aid in my recipe-formulation (and thereby aid in ingredient selection).

If it's too long of a wait, though, I'll just have to man-up and fuck up my own recipes instead of fuckin' up theirs.

I usually get the shirts and glasses in about a week and I'm on the other side of the country.

Douche Bag,

Don't be impatient like BrewTa2, your order will arrive. I ordered last July and my merch arrived just before christmas.

Pile Of Shit,

I'm not being impatient. I just wanted to know if I could expect the book now-ish or much-later-ish for ingredient ordering. Sorry for wanting to draw from the knowledge of a couple excellent brewers who have put their ideas and thoughts out for other brewers. I'll try to not support the BN next time.

love,

Wutz

p.s. If your reply was supposed to be taken tongue-in-cheek-style, my apologies. My radar is off because work is really aggravating me.

No one takes Grod seriously :)

If work sucks, quit and brew more beer.

It was a reasonable question Wutz, and about a week is the right answer. Grod was just fucking with me in his reply, as are most negative sounding replies around here. For future reference keep in mind that we tend not to behave like other forums around here and don't fly off the handle at eachother very easily, assuming that we are all here just to have a good time, gain a little info and if we can rib eachother along the way, then all is right with the world.

So lighten the fuck up!

...and that's what I figured. I added the disclaimer at the end right away to apologize for bein' a dick if I was misinterpreting the whole thing. Text sarcasm and ribbing can be a little hard to accurately interpret. But, as I would have known if I were a little less pissy that day and would have just stopped and thought about it, I would have realized that ill-intentions are quite rare around here.

I'll try to lighten the fuck up!
