Archives and iTunes - The Skinny

Wed Mar 01, 2006 12:44 pm

Hey BNr's...just wanted to post the current lowdown on archives and podcasts as was requested by some folks here:

Currently, the only shows that are available as podcasts are the Sunday Brewcasts. All other shows will be made available as soon as possible, but until then, they can easily be found on our ARCHIVE page via our website, http://www.thebrewingnetwork.com

Certain aspects of our website are being re-designed for ease of use and efficiency. One of those pages is how we distribute our archives as podcasts. Until that interface is completed, The Jamil Show and Lunch Meet will not be made available as podcasts.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but you will surely understand once the transition has been made.

Thanks for all your support!!

Sorry to hear that.

I'm sorry to hear that the Jamil Show and Lunch Meet won't be podcasts. That is the main way that I get to hear these shows. I don't have the time to sit by the computer for the full length of the shows. I would really like to find another way of playing the shows. If I can find a way to save them as MP3 files and get them to my iPod, I'll let everyone know. If you know a way, please let me know.

Hey brotha,

The shows are available for download as indicated above via the Archive page located here - http://www.thebrewingnetwork.com/archive.php

They are mp3 files there...just click to download.

I went ahead and created an RSS feed by hand for the Jamil Show and submitted it to Itunes. It should show up in the near future, once they review it.

Here is the URL, which you can subscribe to in Itunes by going to the Advanced menu, then selecting Subscribe to Podcast and pasting this URL in there. (Something similar should work for your favorite podcast reader also.)

I hope my post helped in some way. If not, please feel free to contact me.
