Cantillon

Sat Sep 29, 2012 1:46 pm

Just got back from Where the Wild Beers Are http://www.wtwba.com/
My first opportunity to try Cantillon. It started off with a keg of Cantillon Fou Foune! Also got to try the geueze, Iris and Mamouche (which was amazing).
Tons of other great beers as well (like a 3L bottle of Consecration, which was pretty cool).
Sunny and warm, all-in-all a great Saturday afternoon!
Gimme oysters and beer (and Durian) for dinner every day of the year...

On the behalf on everyone who doesn't have access to those beers, I would like to say we all hate you. 8)

I was there also, and had a great time. Look for photos on the web site in the near future. Besides a half dozen each of Cantillon and Drie Fontaine, the Trinity Brewing Old Growth was beautiful. If my home brew club doesn't respond to my request to do a sour beer night soon, I might bring my one bottle out to Darkness Day.
