Wasn't Tom Cruise "Born on the 4th of July"

I don't have a problem with calling it the 4th of July and I don't think I'm disrespecting anyone. The 4th is a holiday for ALL Americans, not for just those in or were in the military.

What bothers me is when people will say to you, "Have A Happy Memorial Day". This one I just don't get.

Happy 4th everyone. July the 4th be with you ( ok...it's just not that same as May 4th :? )

4th of July, Independence Day, whatever. It all comes down to Happy Birthday Uncle Sam! However you refer to it, it commemorates the greatest date in American history.

It is also the day we exercise our God given right to get drunk and blow shit up. 8)

That is unpatriotic.

Patriotism has nothing to do with religion.

Until someone can without a doubt prove to me a "supreme being" of any sort exists and is tangible, religion is bullshit. If you want to believe in whatever religion you believe in, that's just fine with me and I'll fight for your right to practice or believe in any religion right up to the point it interferes with my right to not practice or believe in any religion. Some people have faith. I don't. I've got a lot more important things in life than worrying about some alleged zombie person coming back to save us all.

If you take what I post here literally, you're retarded. I'm here to fuck around, have a good time, and learn about beer. You mean nothing to me and I mean nothing to you.

i agree whole heartedly with this sentiments . out of the thousands of different religions that have existed since the dawn of mankind, can any one tell me wich is the right one? even the bible has hundreds or thousands of different translations. if there really is a god why does he let so many poeple kill each other over theyre belief that the version they believe in is the only true and correct one?
any way i wish a happy independance day for all you guys regardless of your belief, and will wait for the day we aussies finally cut the british umbilical cord and get our own head of state.
