I'm calling out Brewcaster J

What do you propose to do about all the spam this forum is receiving?
Edit: Just curious.

A good question Triple. I have been watching/deleting the spam myself, as well as hearing users call for moderators, so I have reluctantly appointed a moderator to assist me in weeding out spam. We have tried repeatedly to block guest posts to curb spam, but some glitch in our version of this forum won't let us do it. Therefore, Lufah is now a moderator of the forum. Our goal is only to delete spam.

Also, it should be said that although others had volunteered to moderate this forum earlier (ie triple, etc.), I had not wanted to have moderators before. Now that we need them to cover spam, I have elected Lufah because he is extremely active in this forum, well respected here, and I have had direct interaction with him myself, so I feel very comfortable with him moderating. Please, no offense to others, I merely chose someone that I have interected with myself and know he will do a great job. there will likely be one more moderator added, I'm just waiting for a response. That will be 3 of us working to root out all spam.

I hope that covers all spam/moderator concerns and "un-calls me out".

Happy posting TBNer's,
Justin

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

So does this mean I have to stop sending spam to the forum now? And, can I consider all of Oz's post spam?
