wierd message when i post

Anyone know why i get this message when i post? Posts go in okay, but i get this message first.

"Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 535 Error: authentication failed

i'm getting it as well, but it doesn't seem to affect anything.

PHPbb interacts with the smtp mail(); function in order to send forum users emails when PM's and other goodies go. I know, I know, "I didn't, post something that requires smtp", but those functions still process so PHPbb freaks out.

I think the the php.ini (unix and the other one) should have E_USER_WARNING in the error and logging stanza commented out while troubleshooting this one, but who am I...

Still some bugs. As an un-utilized BN IT volunteer I felt the need to point this out.

I was getting that Friday but I havn't since then. I think Justin switched back to the old server.
