hop amount changes for full extract boil?

I am curious if the amount of hops for an extract kit needs to be increased for a full boil.

every extract recipe I have used suggests the top off method, but I prefer just doing a full 6.25-6.5gallon boil.

No, it's actually the opposite. You need to DECREASE the hops in a full boil. The sugar levels being boiled are less concentrated, so its as iff there's more "room" for hop goodies to get extracted.
Concentrated boils by virtue of the concentrated sugar content can't extract as many of the hop compounds, so your beers taste under hopped if you do a concentrated boil.

I'm pretty sure that's never the answer for any question ever asked in the history of mankind. I could be wrong, maybe we should ask Tasty or Nate.
