Kern River Citra clone?

Since I'm a dummy, can anybody guide me in making this an extract (w/ steeping grains) recipe? Or, if somebody already has the clone, that'd be great too.

All you really need to do is switch the 2-row to light extract.

Sorry, I work in metric, but rounding off I'm getting

8.1# DME
-or-
10.6# LME

The Munich, Honey and White Wheat REALLY should be mashed to get the full deal out of them... How do you feel about a mini mash? Those three grains plus enough 2-row to get it down to where you are using 9.9lbs light LME (3 cans).

I'm down for a mini-mash. I'd do it stove top, so any pointers are welcome. As far as the LME amounts, I get alot of my stuff from Hoptech and they will give me whatever odd amount of LME I need, so that's not too much of an issue.

I've "heard" that Carapils is already in extract, so that addition is not necessary. True?

You mean that carapils is an ingredient in LME? Might be. Haven't heard that myself, and it would likely depend on brand and variety, if true. If you have a pot that fits in the oven, that's a nice way to keep your temp at ~150F during your mini mash.

I just checked my oven and 170 is the lowest it'll go, so I think that's a no go. Should I heat up a pot on the stove top until I get a consistent 150 and drop in my grains (in a bag)? How long and how much water? I think my kettle is 5 gallons.

BTW, it is supposed to be the CYBI clone, but I haven't gone back to check the facts on that episode.
