Why do I see clone recipes with a mixture of Light LME and Light DME? If it is the same extract, why use a mix of dry and liquid? I understand the fermentability differences, but why not use more LME or less DME? This drives me crazy when a recipe calls for amounts just outside of the packaging at my local homebrew store.
