looked a little funny

So I bottled an IPA tonight - it spent about 7 days in the primary and 6 in a glass carboy secondary. Color was a nice medium gold - clarity good - surface looked normal. So when I'm racking into the bottling bucket from the carboy - my wife says she sees something a bit strange --- within an inch or two of the surface its like there are striation lines (or density lines) somewhat visible. No cloudiness or gunk just looked like a layer or something.

Any thoughts ? We had a few sips of the brew and it tasted fine - a bit green but ok
